Guinness Pro12 Trophy visits Castlegar National School

Castlegar National School were delighted to welcome Domestic Rugby Manager, Lyndon Jones and players Denis Buckley and Darragh Leader who brought the Pro12 Trophy to the school today. There was great excitement throughout the school for the big occasion.

The pupils had lots of questions for the players about their training schedules and the level of commitment required to make the Connacht Squad. The pupils also had interesting questions for Darragh, who is a past pupil of the school, about the time he spent here in Castlegar School.

We were all very surprised at how heavy the trophy was when we got to hold it. It is 15kg ! Thanks to the Lyndon, Denis and Darragh for their visit. They are a true inspiration.
